The following announcement concens pedestrian access and some parking at the east side of the Conference Center, 800 West Campus Drive.
Please be advised that, from November 11th through December 10th, the Conference Center east entrance will be closed to allow construction improvements to the area, including the installation of electric car charging stations. Access will be restricted to emergency egress only.
Campus residents and victors should access the Conference Center through the main entrance or via the Terrace area.
Parking lots immediately adjacent to the east entrance will be inaccessible for the duration of the project, and the turnaround/drop-off area will be closed to all vehicles. The map below shows the affected areas, including the location of the West Campus fleet cars.
The construction team will try to contain the amount of noisy work to early mornings and weekends, but there will be machines and workers on site during the day to maintain schedule.
