Nano building

Yale Nanobiology Institute

Welcome to the Yale Nanobiology Institute,

Since its inception in 2011, the Nanobiology Institute has focused on the discovery of principles that unite living and synthetic materials at the nanoscale. Taking a multidisciplinary approach, researchers in this Institute seek to unravel the cellular organization and dynamics by developing and utilizing cutting-edge tools to dissect and build complex biological assemblies.

Whether you are interested in the development of biosensors, analytical and imaging techniques, genetic switches, or biocompatible materials, we welcome your interest and look forward to future collaborations.
