This talk will offer practical tips and insights for students and early-career researchers on scientific publishing, covering key topics such as publishing in high-impact journals, editorial processes and selection procedures, scientific writing, communicating science to the public, and editorial careers. Dr. Dusastre will share his experience as Head of International Scientific Visibility at Université Côte d'Azur, where he works closely with researchers to enhance the university's global scientific reputation, advising on grant proposals and publication strategies for successful journal submissions. He will also reflect on his previous role as Chief Editor of Nature Materials, highlighting the journal's multidisciplinary approach and the impact of a broad and international editorial team.
