Proteomes translate life’s code into diversity. The Liu Lab studies how cells remodel their proteome in genetic diseases and cancer, identifying and correcting dysregulated protein nodes and dynamics. Our research focuses on protein turnover and post-translational modifications in cancer aneuploidy, signaling, and biodiversity (Nat Biotechnol 2019, Dev Cell 2021, Sci Adv 2022, Nat Commun 2023, Cell Rep Methods 2024, Cell 2025). We also aim to advance multiplexed DIA-MS (Mol Syst Biol 2020, Anal Chem 2021) and MALDI imaging MS for clinical applications.
