Eve Schneider joined the West Campus Imaging Core as Staff Scientist in 2025 with a focus on super-resolution microscopy. She obtained her PhD from Princeton University and completed postdoctoral studies at the Yale School of Medicine. Eve returns to Yale as a 2024 NSF CAREER awardee, a 2020 Alfred P. Sloan Research fellow, and following an Assistant Professorship at the University of Kentucky Biology Department, where she built a custom 2-photon microscope to explore connections between neural mechanisms of touch sensation and foraging ecology in birds. Eve engages with the West Campus and Yale imaging community and manages training and maintenance protocols for the Core.
