Campus Security
The campus has around-the-clock security coverage. The main security phone number is 203.737.3111. All buildings have Yale key card access and are frequently checked by security. Camera and video monitoring is used. The City of West Haven and Town of Orange provide first-responder service for medical, police, and fire emergencies, working closely with Yale police and security. Judy Landry is the Security Manager for West Campus and can be reached on 203.737.3016.
Access
The Yale West Campus Access Form is used to add new Yale faculty, staff and students to the campus Security database. Submission of this form includes off-hour ID access to campus perimeter gates. Please note that requests for access to exterior building entrances and interior spaces requires additional approval and coordination with administrative staff located within the respective spaces. Questions regarding this form should be sent to West Campus Security westcampussecurity@mailman.yale.edu. Please allow 24 hours for processing all access requests.
If you intend to park your car on campus for an extended period of time, such as when traveling over the weekend, you must complete this form and email it to Yale West Campus Administration at westcampus.administration@yale.edu.
The Welcome Center and Marsh Hill Road gates are open Sunday thru Saturday from 6:30 am to 11:00 pm. The Contractor’s gate is open Monday thru Friday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and closed on weekends. The Morgan Lane gate is open Monday thru Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and closed on weekends. Outside of these hours gates and buildings are red lit and accessible with Yale ID only.
Facilities
The Office of Facilities is responsible for the maintenance and operation of existing campus buildings as well as the planning, design, and construction of new buildings. Yale West Campus is proud to have a full branch of facility services available for occupants. All facilities work requests can be made by calling 203.432.6888 or by submitting an online form found on the Facilities website.
