Kane, the Friends of American Arts Curator of American Decorative Arts, as she explores the aesthetics, crafts traditions, cultural context of furniture made in the Connecticut River Valley during the second half of the seventeenth century. This special tour takes place in the new Leslie P. and George H. Hume American Furniture Study Center at the Collection Studies Center at Yale West Campus, home to more than 1,300 examples of American furniture and clocks from the 17th century to the present.
