As part of continuous improvements at West Campus construction of the Landscape Improvement Project began at the end of April. This project will transform the outdoor spaces surrounding the Conference Center and adjacent research buildings by creating new pedestrian pathways, expanding greenspaces, and improving traffic circulation for the shuttles and other vehicles. The project is scheduled to be complete by the end of November 2018.
Blue fencing marks the boundaries of the project area and this will impact access to certain building entrances and parking lots. Please note that access to the project area is strictly prohibited except for emergency egress.
The entrance to the Integrated Science & Technology Center has been temporarily relocated to the Energy Sciences Center I located at 520 West Campus Drive.
The entrance to the Advanced Biosciences Center has been temporarily relocated to the South Entrance of the building.
Please refer to the following documents for information about the project:
- Campus map showing project area and designated parking lots identified by letter
- Parking lot assignments based on building affiliation, including designated parking for Conference Center event attendees
- Temporary shuttle stops and building access
- Artistic renderings of the project area
We will continue to notify the campus about changes as they arise. We know that construction projects may cause inconvenience and we appreciate your patience.
