From molecules and cells to populations and ecosystems, Yale’s Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (EEB) explores the stunning variety and myriad interactions of life on Earth. EEB faculty, students, and researchers study processes and systems that have implications for the treatment of human diseases, the development of biotechnology, and the conservation of biodiversity.

In this opening talk for the new CSSSI media wall exhibit, From Molecules to Ecosystems, Stephen Stearns, Edward P. Bass Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, will provide an introduction to the exciting current research of EEB faculty.
