Solar Simulator and Characterization

Incident photon to current efficiencies (IPCE) / external quantum efficiency (EQE)

  • wavelength range 200 – 1100 nm (Can be extended to longer wavelengths if researcher supplies calibrated diode)
  • DC system (an internal shutter is software programmable)

AM 1.5G solar simulator

  • maximum ~1.5 suns (150 mW/cm2) with 1x1 cm sample
  • neutral density filters can be used to modulate light intensity

Capability for analytical (reverse phase C18, and HILIC conditions) and semi-preparative (reverse phase C18) applications.
